Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Oletha J. and Lawrence Jenkins Education Endowed Scholarship Fund 

 was established with the desire to assist young people in their efforts to 

acquire a higher education. This annual endowment shall be given to 

a deserving student from Canaan United Methodist Church who is

enrolled to attend Claflin University for books, meal plans, supplies

and towards full tuition. If no student Canaan United Methodist Church is

enrolled first preference shall be given to a student from Dorchester County

who wishes to pursue a degree in Education.
