The Eric "Ricky" Burris Endowed

Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Eric "Ricky" Burris Endowed Memorial Scholarship has been

established to assist young people in their efforts to acquire a

higher education in a Christian environment and honor his memory.

The Joe Family established this endowed scholarship

to honor the memory their brother and uncle,

Mr. Eric Richard Burris,

Claflin University Class of 1981. 

The Finanical Aid Office of Claflin University will select recipents

who are pursing a degree in sociology, history, or related fields who

are from the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina. Candiates should be

a rising sophmore, junior or senior with 

full time enrollment.
