As many of our Alumni and Friends know, for the past 12 years Claflin University has been ranked in the TOP TIER among Baccalaureate Colleges in the South by U.S. News and World Report.

But that’s not the only ranking U.S. News and World Report awarded us.

Claflin ranks #1 in Annual Alumni Giving.That’s because 37% of our graduates support the University on an annual basis. Programs, resources, scholarships, facility enhancements and a myriad of undergraduate opportunities are due to the generosity of Claflin Alumni.

In 2010, our goal is to make national news with another #1!

“The 1^st to 50” - to become the first HBCU (Historically Black College or University) in the country with a giving rate of 50%.
Not only are we aspiring to reach 50%, we are striving to increase our giving until we reach the $1million dollar mark.
When we reach that goal, we can tell the world Forbes’#1 HBCU in the country is America’s #1 HBCU in Alumni Giving.

Be a proud alum knowing we are about to achieve this historic and record making goal: Claflin University -The 1^st to 50.”Join us now and become a part of History.
